According to the domestic saying, the flow probe of the ultrasonic flowmeter has a comparative image of V, Z, W, and N. The European saying, more scientific, is calculated according to the sound layer, divided into 1, 2, 3..., this number is the number of times the sound passes through the diameter of the pipe. For example, 1 sound layer, two flow probes, is installed in the pipeline test (equivalent to the domestic Z method installation); 2 sound layer, two flow probes, is the same test installed in the pipeline (equivalent to the domestic V method) installation).
But when do you use 1 sound layer (Z method to install) 2 sound layers (V method installation), 3 sound layers...? Many users of flowmeters in China are mostly from the point of view of convenient measurement, such as the pipeline between DN6MM--DN70MM, using V method or W method, 1 sound layer larger than DNXX (Z method installation) and so on. However, in the actual application process, the user should believe in himself and cannot be superstitious about the so-called experience or technology. Deng Xiaoping has a black cat and a white cat. Similarly, when doing tests, it is necessary to not rely on the so-called "experience", not to mention that some experiences are false. As long as the straight pipe section of the measuring point is satisfied and the flow sensor is installed, the signal strength meets the requirements, and the field operating parameter input is correct. This measured value can be regarded as the true value.
