In the past, our usual practice was to build a high-position fuel tank. Before the equipment was not working, some oil was pumped into the fuel tank. If the oil source suddenly cuts off the oil, immediately open the high-level fuel tank outlet valve to supply oil to the bearing, but it is very unreliable in actual use. It takes at least 30 seconds to suddenly cut off the oil and manually open the valve. The oil in the high tank only supplies oil to the bearing by its own weight. When the bearing runs at high speed, it does not reach the required oil supply pressure under its working conditions.
