Safety facilities and protective equipment (appliances) management system

I. SCOPE 1. Safety facilities are the facilities (equipment) and the measures taken to control hazards and harmful factors within the scope of safety in production and business operations, and to prevent, reduce, and eliminate hazards. The safety facilities are classified into three types: facilities to prevent accidents, facilities to control accidents, and facilities to reduce or eliminate the impact of accidents, such as temperature, pressure, liquid level limit alarm facilities, accident parking facilities, and stroke and load limiting facilities for lifting equipment during production. Overload protection equipment for electrical equipment, protective equipment for protection of machinery operation departments, safety valves for pressure-carrying equipment, explosion-proof pressure relief facilities for high-voltage equipment, airtight facilities for low-pressure vacuum, insulation against flame spread, fire alarm stationary facilities, and fire-fighting facilities , Accident lighting safety evacuation facilities, static electricity and lightning protection facilities, protective covers or isolation rails of transmission equipment, various warning signs, fences at production sites, cover plates, cofferdams in various storage tank areas, etc.
2. The articles (apparatus) that an individual who wears or wears to avoid or reduce accidental injury and occupational hazards in the production process is called a protective article (appliance).
3. This regulation applies to the company's two workshops, departmental company accounting units.
Second, the management responsibilities 1. Where machinery, equipment, safety facilities (such as: pressure vessels on the pressure valve, pressure gauges, all kinds of mechanical load, travel limiter and other facilities), are responsible for the management of the equipment department.
2. All electrical safety protection facilities (such as various relay protection facilities and lightning protection facilities, etc.) are managed by the equipment department.
3. All fire alarm facilities, automatic fire-fighting facilities and other fixed and semi-fixed fire-fighting facilities in the production area shall be managed by the security department.
4. The safety department shall be responsible for the protection of personal safety products and appliances worn and used during the operation.
5. The process control department shall be responsible for the management of temperature, pressure, liquid level alarm facilities and safety interlock facilities.
6. The monitoring and alarm facilities for flammable, explosive, toxic and hazardous substances in the production area shall be managed by the security and safety department.
7. The rest of the safety facilities are managed by the workshop (department).
8. The departments responsible for the use of safety facilities shall have special personnel responsible for them. They shall constantly inspect the maintenance and management, make regular professional inspections and verifications, and check and check the status of the safety facilities for registration and filing.
Third, maintenance management 1. A variety of safety facilities and protective supplies (apparatus) must be responsible for the management of a person, regular inspections and maintenance, implementation to the people.
2. All kinds of safety facilities should be built into the equipment maintenance plan for the files and regularly overhauled.
3. The competent authorities of various types of safety facilities and protective articles (appliances) shall, in accordance with the relevant regulations, carry out regular professional inspections and verifications of the safety facilities of supervisors, and shall record the inspections and verifications in files.
4. Safety facilities are not allowed to be dismantled, misappropriated or disposed of. They must be restored immediately after the completion of maintenance. If it is really necessary to require the responsible department of the safety insurance facility to submit the application to the workshop (department) where the facility is located, it may be removed only after approval is granted by the general manager (or vice president of production).
5. Any safety equipment that has been modified or newly designed and installed must be inspected and tested to be qualified and submitted to the competent authorities of various types of safety facilities before it can be used.
Fourth, the selection and storage of protective equipment 1. According to the nature of the operation conditions (oxygen content in the air, the type and concentration of poisons and other indicators) the right choice and use of suitable protective equipment and appliances.
2. All kinds of protective equipment should be stored in a safe and convenient place at a certain point, and there are special persons responsible for safekeeping, regular check and maintenance. After each calibration, it should be recorded or sealed, and supervisors should always check it.
3. Establish the issuance of protective articles and appliances, and formulate distribution standards in accordance with relevant regulations.

AWWA Flanges

AWWA Flange Standards differ from ANSI (American National Standards Institute) and ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) certifications in a variety of ways, the most important being their specificity: AWWA standards evaluate properties that particularly affect potable water use, as opposed to broader industrial flange applications.
