The establishment of the Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle (FCV) Standard Working Group (hereinafter referred to as the Working Group) and the first meeting were held in Guiyang from September 2nd to 4th. The Sub-Committee of the Electric Vehicle Sub-Committee, the fuel cell and the vehicle R&D unit and the testing organization Twenty representatives from 15 institutions including universities, research institutes and some overseas members of the National Automobile Standards Committee attended the meeting.
The meeting was chaired by Zhao Jingwei, secretary general of the Technical Committee of Electric Vehicles. Zhao Jingyu first introduced the status quo of FCV standardization work, and pointed out the urgency of the country's demand for electric vehicle related standards in the context of the current large-scale promotion and application of new energy vehicles. The participants then discussed and adopted the work programme of the working group. The meeting drafted four draft national standards for "fuel cell electric vehicle hydrogenation port", "fuel cell hybrid electric vehicle energy consumption measurement method", "vehicle hydrogen system technical conditions" and "fuel cell electric vehicle maximum speed test method" The draft "Global Technical Regulations for Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles (GTR)" was discussed item by item. Participants in the meeting combined with China's fuel cell electric vehicle technology status and testing conditions, fully discussed the various standards, and put forward many valuable opinions. The Secretariat hopes that the responsible units of each standard project will sort out the opinions after the meeting, and revise and improve the draft standards according to the opinions; plan to complete the fuel cell electric vehicle hydrogenation port and the fuel cell electric vehicle maximum speed test before the end of October 2009. The method and the "Technical Conditions for Vehicle Hydrogen System" were drafted for comments. At the end of 2009, the paper was drafted for the "Measurement Method for Hydrogen Consumption of Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles".
In fact, before the establishment of the FCV standard working group, the electric vehicle sub-technical committee actively carried out the FCV standardization work in China while paying attention to and tracking the FCV technology and relevant foreign standards and regulations, and made great progress. Currently, the FCV related standards have been completed. Four drafts were submitted for approval, and four standards were being drafted. In order to cope with the industrialization of electric vehicles in China, some of these standard projects are synchronized with the world, and some projects even precede the standards and international standards of other countries. At the same time, FCV related technologies are in the process of continuous development and progress. There are also many challenges in standardization work. It is hoped that the FCV standardization working group will be established to gather industry strengths, improve standardization work efficiency, and further promote the process of standardization of fuel cell vehicles. At present, the FCV standard working group consists of 15 units. With the development of the industry and the needs of standardization work, the working group will gradually absorb new units with technical conditions and work foundations to participate and continuously strengthen the strength of the working group.
