Aluminum smelting energy-saving technology seminar held in Jiaozuo

The “Aluminum Smelting and Energy-saving New Technology Symposium” organized by Henan Nonferrous Metals Industry Association and Non-Ferrous Metals Society and co-organized by Duoduo Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. was held in Jiaozuo on October 21st. More than 20 aluminum smelting companies from inside and outside the province More than 110 delegates attended the meeting. The symposium was also the branch of the sixth academic annual conference sponsored by Henan Science and Technology Association. The theme of the annual conference was “Science and Technology Aiming for the Construction of Central Plains Economic Zone”.

Honorary President of the Provincial Non-ferrous Metals Industry Association and Prof. Zhang Sen, Chairman of the Non-Ferrous Metals Society made an important speech at the seminar. Vice President of the Association and Chairman of the Multi-Fluoro Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. Li Shijiang gave welcome remarks. Vice President and Secretary of the Association Su Junjie presided over the meeting.

The well-known experts and topics invited to give a special academic report at this seminar are: Prof. Li Wangxing, President of the China Aluminum Institute of Zhengzhou, “Aluminum Industry Technology Progress and Outlook”, and Li Lu, Dean of School of Metallurgical Science and Engineering, Central South University (Professor Lü Xiaojun and Associate Professor read out), Prof. Feng Naixian of Northeastern University, “Analysis and evaluation of several current energy-saving technologies in China's aluminum electrolysis” and graduate school of Zhengzhou University Prof. Guan Shaokang, “The New Industry of Energy Saving for Aluminum Alloy Sheets in Continuous Casting and Rolling Production”. These special reports introduced in detail the new technologies for aluminum smelting and energy saving at home and abroad, and the status quo of energy saving and emission reduction technologies in China's aluminum industry. They were warmly welcomed and highly praised by the delegates.

Representatives of enterprises inside and outside the province that participated in the seminar actively spoke at the meeting, submitted special reports, introduced the company's energy-saving technology, and conducted extensive and in-depth exchanges with experts on problems in production.
