Lu Dongliang said that in terms of output of alumina, electrolytic aluminum and aluminum, China’s output ranks first in the world. As of 2017, more than 50% of 400KA and above, the aluminum industry industry has been continuously optimized, the industry concentration has been steadily increasing, and the industry concentration is good. Judging from the aluminum environmental protection policy and the capacity-reduction policy, Lu Dongliang believes that the capacity-reduction and environmental protection policies are to be “true”, and that capacity reduction will be carried out “sustainable”.

It cannot be overlooked that in recent years, China's electrolytic aluminum production capacity has continued to increase, supply pressure has risen, industry operating costs have risen, industrial chain competitiveness has been divided, international trade frictions have increased, and aluminum exports are under pressure. However, in the long run, the operation of the aluminum industry in China is basically stable, and healthy development is just around the corner.

Lu Dongliang said that in the future development of China’s aluminum industry, the global aluminum industry will present four major characteristics: integration, internationalization, green “lightweight” and energy saving. The reform of the electrolytic aluminum supply side and the “One Belt and One Road” will provide wireless opportunities for the development of the aluminum industry.
