Earlier, on August 11, the Qingyang Tunnel, the first phase of the Jiqing High-speed Railway project, broke ground. The project is the first high-speed railway built by the local government. Since the second half of the year, railway investment and construction have entered an accelerated period. The estimated total investment of the above-mentioned Jiqing high-speed railway project is 59.98 billion yuan, including engineering investment of 54.38 billion yuan and locomotive vehicle purchase cost of 5.6 billion yuan. The source of funds is: project capital accounts for 50% of the total investment, accounting for 30 billion yuan. Among them, Shandong Province bears 80% of the capital (including land acquisition and demolition expenses), which is responsible for raising funds and is responsible for land acquisition and demolition; China Railway Corporation assumes 20% of capital.

In the national railway fixed assets investment completed in the first half of this year, the railway capital construction investment was 234.2 billion yuan, up 13% year-on-year; the national railway locomotive vehicle purchase was 30.9 billion yuan, up 9.2% year-on-year.
