4.2 SIM card installation
The SIM card needs to be powered off before proceeding to avoid damage to the SIM card or device. There is an indicator on the device that provides the following status information.
· Off: Shut down
· Always on: Not registered to the GPRS network, the phone is not available at this time.
· Slow flashing (on for 0.2 seconds, off for 2 seconds): Register to the network, then the phone can pass
· Fast flashing (lights 0.2 seconds, off 0.6 seconds): communication is in progress
· Flashing (on 0.1 second, off for 0.2 seconds): equipment failure
4.3 Checking whether the device is online
Open the network debugging assistant, as shown in Figure 3, select "Server Mode"--fill in the port you wrote when setting the DUT (default 5005)--listening, write 11 in the sending area, select hexadecimal sending, wait a few seconds in the receiving area Received data indicating that the device is online. As shown in Figure 6.

4.4 Installing Virtual Serial Port Software VSPM.exe
Create two new virtual serial ports as shown:

Serial port 1 editing - only need to edit the "general page" Note that the port corresponds to the previous setting, as shown in Figure 8.

Serial port 18 editing - just edit the "general page". The IP address and port correspond well, as shown in Figure 9.

After setting, exit and let the virtual serial port work.
