Logistics design of the production line

First, the flow of material between processes is large and important

There are two major ills in the equipment manufacturing industry. One is the “bumping” of parts, and the other is “running, running, dripping and leaking”. Most of these two points occur in the transshipment between parts and processes. Transshipment is a large number of existence and inevitable, therefore, it is very important to do a good job in the logistics of the production process.

Second, the design of the raceway

Below, we take the logistics design of a gear and shaft production line as an example, and introduce the practices of some excellent enterprises and foreign companies.

......

Third, the process between the transfer car and related design

The finished parts can be sent to the front of the first hobbing machine with the raceway. Because the three hobbing machines are placed side by side, they cannot be sent to the front of the second and third hobbing machines (see Figure 1). By the same token, a gear that has been rolled can not be fed to the shaver with a raceway. This distance is more than ten meters away. The parts that are rolled over and not rolled are cross-transported, which is rather confusing. In addition, the gear teeth and teeth of the rolled teeth are stuck, which is inconvenient to transport with the raceway. We specially designed a The transfer cart was pushed by people during the process, and a special workbench was designed for the gear hobbing machine.

Fourth, the design of large transfer truck

The final step in the production line is to shave the shaved parts and transfer them to other workshops for processing. At this point the parts are transported on a larger car. This large transfer vehicle has also been redesigned. The difference between the new car (Fig. 5a) and the old car (Fig. 5b) is as follows:

V. Conclusion

This is a typical form of the parts we designed in the case of pipeline processing, which better meets the needs of production, and has been well received in use. The use of these logistics tools is also very obvious for improving the quality of products. Since the operation, the bump phenomenon and the burrs of the parts have been greatly reduced. The assembly workshop reflected that the noise of the assembled transmission was lower than before, and the number of transmissions that were repaired due to noise caused by burrs was significantly reduced, and the design achieved the expected results. This design hopes to provide a reference for peers in similar design work. The shortcomings are welcome to criticize and correct.
