Photovoltaic Power Storage Solution

The world's leading photovoltaic expert, IBC SOLAR, launched two PV system installation power storage solutions during the Intersolar exhibition in Munich, Germany. Even in the absence of the sun, photovoltaic system installers can still use solar photovoltaic power significantly. At the same time, IBC Solar also demonstrated a series of high-efficiency photovoltaic modules, inverters and mounting systems at its booth. In addition to this series of new products, large-scale projects, off-grid solutions, IBC Solar also put forward its market strategy plan.

Smart Storage Solutions

The use of photovoltaic energy to meet people's electricity demand is an inevitable trend in the future. IBC Solar PV experts have introduced two power storage solutions that can meet 60% of the household's electricity demand from photovoltaics. IBC SOLAR proposed a complete solar power solution that includes photovoltaic modules, inverters, battery systems, and IBC SoGuards that can intelligently manage the use of solar power. The smart system can directly optimize the use of electricity and provide the owner with a power application before charging. Once the battery is full, all excess power is delivered to the public power grid.

“Since 2009, tenants can directly use their PV systems to generate electricity. According to the German Renewable Energy Law (EEG), they will receive less subsidies, but at the same time, electricity costs will also decrease.” Norbert Hahn explained "In order to encourage the direct use of solar energy, the overall cost of renewable energy will be reduced and the energy load of the public power grid will reach a balance."

Without management technology, home installations can currently use 15% of solar power. With the launch of IBC SolGuard last year, the integration of photovoltaic installation systems with household target control monitoring has increased the use of solar power to 30%. Through the use of the power storage solution, the owner can use more of his own system of photovoltaic power generation: The battery inverter can control the charging and discharging of the battery, and the photovoltaic power of the lithium-ion battery cannot be used directly, and it can be used after charging.

IBC Solar introduced two different solar cell technologies: IBC SolStorage 3.5Li, a battery system based on lithium-ion polymer. The other is the IBC SolStore 6.8 Pb. The storage system optimizes valve-regulated lead-acid technology. At the show, IBC Solar also demonstrated lithium-ion solutions. This solution already has a certain share in the local area. Charge efficiency up to 95%, with integrated touch display, can display the current battery capacity.
