Product Description
 
 
Incoloy 800 is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy with good strength and excellent resistance to oxidation and carburization in high-temperature atmospheres. It also resists corrosion by many aqueous environments. The alloy maintains a stable, austenitic structure during prolonged exposure to high temperatures.
Incoloy 800 is used for heat-treating equipments such as baskets, trays and fixtures. In chemical and petrochemical processing the alloy is used for heat exchangers and other piping systems in nitric acid media.

Welding of Incoloy 800
 
Any traditional welding procedures can be used to weld Incoloy 800 to similar alloys or other metals, such as gas tungsten arc welding(GTAW), plasma arc welding (PAW), metal inertia gas welding (MIG) and so on. Before welding, remove scale, grease, mark and imprint.
Recommend filler wire regarding welding Incoloy 800: ERNiCrMo-3
