If this test is successful, "ElectRoad" plans to lay a 11-mile (about 18km) wireless charging road between Eilat and Ramon International Airport.
For now, the technology can only be used on a bus or when the vehicle is driving in urban areas. If the technology is to be used globally in the future, the infrastructure renovation project is very large.
