The British construction company Morgan Sindall actively cooperated with the business of 2K manufacturing company of plastic recycling companies and retired more than 4,000 safety helmets from abandoned construction sites.

UK realizes environmental recycling of plastic safety helmets

The plastic recycling manufacturer in Luton, UK, has successfully reconstructed the construction company's waste helmet into an environmentally friendly plywood, known as the EcoSheet, which will be widely used at construction sites throughout the UK.

Morgan Sindall was established earlier this year and is a merger of the construction and infrastructure divisions of the Morgan Sindall Group. The establishment of the new company meant that more than 4,000 helmets bearing nameplates needed to be replaced. The company did not simply dispose of these obsolete helmets. Instead, it chose 2K Manufacturing to turn these waste caps into eco-friendly EcoSheet sheets.

"The breakthrough technology we use to produce the award-winning EcoSheet sheet enables us to bring new life to the four million helmets that Britain produces each year," said Peter Schwarz, sales manager at 2K Manufacturing.
