Abstract : The core competitiveness of photovoltaic products is the photoelectric conversion rate, which is also the life of the enterprise. However, since the product was originally developed in western developed countries such as Germany, France and the United States, the core technology has been monopolized by these countries. For some time, China's PV companies, including Taizhou, played the role of “world factory” in the global PV industry chain.

In the photovoltaic industry, there is a popular saying: Whose photoelectric conversion rate is high, who can become the next king. In the Luqiao District, Sori New Energy Co., Ltd. is approaching the “king”.

"At present, the conversion efficiency of our monocrystalline silicon cells has reached 18.7% - 18.9%, and the conversion efficiency of polycrystalline silicon cells has reached 17.8% - 18%, which is at the leading level in domestic counterparts." On the afternoon of September 9, Sori New Energy Co., Ltd. General Manager Yan Yanjian said.

The core competitiveness of photovoltaic products is the photoelectric conversion rate, which is also the life of the enterprise. However, since the product was originally developed in western developed countries such as Germany, France and the United States, the core technology has been monopolized by these countries. For some time, China's PV companies, including Taizhou, played the role of “world factory” in the global PV industry chain.

Breaking the monopoly of technology is the common voice of the industry for many years. Yan Yanjian said that in this regard, Sozhe took the first step. In order to improve the photoelectric conversion efficiency of the battery, in recent years, the company has specially selected internal technical personnel to form a research team, and allocated 26 million to 30 million yuan of research funding each year. But the tackling is not always smooth, and sometimes only a small technological innovation has to go through hundreds of experiments.

Polysilicon texturing process is one of the important processes affecting the conversion efficiency of solar cells. In recent years, there have been few new breakthroughs in photovoltaic companies at home and abroad. Souri uses new coating processes and different film materials, together with unique cleaning and texturing processes. More than 300 times, more than 10 months of experiments, the final development of chain polysilicon technology, and was granted invention patents by the State Intellectual Property Office. At present, this technology can be used to develop polycrystalline silicon cells of various colors. If made into components, the price per watt can be increased by more than 1 yuan compared with conventional components.

Yan Yanjian said that through the use of new technologies such as acid-spun single crystal batteries, the current power of each cell of the company has increased by more than 0.075 watts, and each production line can increase profits by about 10 million yuan per year. As of the end of July, the company has 4 invention patents and 17 utility model patents, leading in the industry.

In order to further improve the quality of the products, the company is also cooperating with universities and colleges such as Sun Yat-Sen University Solar Energy Research Institute to establish a photovoltaic research center to give full play to the advantages of photovoltaic talents in these institutions. At the same time, enterprises are also updating their PV production equipment in a timely manner.

The production lines of monocrystalline silicon and polycrystalline silicon solar cells are all automated, and only a few technicians are operating in each process. "Relying on the technology dividend, our products have obtained the top certification of international photovoltaic products such as TUV, CE, JET, etc., and won the trust of customers." Yan Yanjian said that although the global photovoltaic industry is not booming this year, the sales of Sori are reversed. The growth rate is close to 700 million yuan in the first eight months, up nearly 30% year-on-year, and the annual output value is expected to reach 1.2 billion yuan.
