Some construction teams are sloppy. When installing the glass, the size of the spacer or glass blank is not as large as specified, and the spacer cannot be placed, so that the glass directly contacts the glass slot, the peripheral gap is uneven, and the weight of the glass cannot be well. Support, causing deformation of the sash when it is severe.
Prevention:
(1) Install the glass block according to the regulations to support the weight of the glass to avoid deformation of the window sash. The glass installed in the vertical frame should be provided with two load-bearing blocks underneath, and the distance between the resting points and the vertical edge of the glass is l/4 and not less than 150 mm of the glass width. In other directions, the block should be set to fix the glass to ensure uniform gaps around.
(2) The glass block should be made of hard rubber with a hardness of 80 °C. The width should be greater than the thickness of the supported glass. The length is not less than 25 mm, and the thickness is generally 2 to 6 mm.
(3) Before the glass is in place, the position of the block should be checked to prevent the block from falling off due to collision and vibration, and the position is not allowed to block the drain hole.
(4) Strictly control the size of the glass cut. The difference between the size of the glass and the size of the frame fan should be equal to the thickness of the two blocks.
The glass is loosely installed and the rubber seal is detached.
The glass installation is not centered, the gap between the glass and the window frame is uneven, the rubber sealing strip is not close to the glass and the window frame, and the installation is uneven. Knocking on the glass by hand, there is a loose sound.
The reasons for this:
(1) When the glass is installed, the debris in the notch is not removed in time, so that the glass and the notch are not aligned.
(2) The gap between the glass and the glass slot is not uniform, the rubber strip is in poor contact with the glass and the glass groove, and the glass slot is protruded, and the sealing strip can be easily pulled off by hand.
(3) The rubber strip is not broken at the corner, and it is not glued.
The measures for rectification are:
(1) Before installing the glass, carefully remove the sundries in the slot, such as mortar, brick chips, wooden blocks, etc. When the glass is placed, it should be carefully centered to ensure uniform gap on both sides and be fixed in time to prevent collision and displacement. Deviate from the center of the slot.
(2) The rubber sealing strip cannot be pulled too tightly, and the length of the blanking is 2O-3Omm longer than the assembly length. It should be set in place during installation, the surface is straight, and it is in close contact with the glass and glass slot, so that the surrounding force of the glass is evenly distributed. At the corner, the rubber strip should be beveled off and glued firmly at the break.
(3) When sealing the glass with sealant, the glass should be squeezed with rubber strips or rubber blocks to leave a gap of glue injection. The depth of glue injection should be no less than 5mm. Before the glue is cured, the glass should be kept from vibration. .
