On October 27th, Evonik Industries announced the acquisition of the hydrogen peroxide business of Kemira Chemical Canada. The transaction includes the Maitland factory and investment in Ontario, Canada.
With the acquisition of this business, Evonik has an annual production capacity of 440,000 tons of hydrogen peroxide in North America. Evonik currently has hydrogen peroxide plants in both Alabama and Alberta, Canada.
