The Third National Aluminum Carbon Technology and Market Seminar Held in Stone City

In order to further promote the technological progress and industrial upgrading of carbon industry for aluminum, to strengthen mutual understanding, cooperation and exchanges between electrolytic aluminum, carbon for aluminum and other industries, on October 25th, the third national aluminum carbon technology and market seminar was held. Shizuishan City, Ningxia. Scholars and experts from the domestic carbon industry made exchanges, presentations, and predictions on current and future developments in aluminum carbon technology and market trends.

In recent years, the rapid development of China's electrolytic aluminum industry has led to a strong growth in the production of carbon for aluminum. At present, Shizuishan City has established more than 100 various types of carbon companies, with an annual output of more than 1 million tons of various types of carbon products, accounting for about 20% of the total domestic production. Among them, there are nearly 30 high-quality electric calcined coal production enterprises with a production capacity of 380,000 tons, which accounts for nearly 90% of the national market share, and have become the nation's production and supply base for high-quality carbon raw materials. The convening of this seminar provided favorable opportunities for the development of the carbon industry in Shizuishan City.

At the meeting, experts and business representatives conducted extensive discussions on issues such as the impact of the electrolytic aluminum industry in China on the carbon industry for aluminum, the potential for clean production of prebaked anodes, and the analysis of the market trend of carbon for aluminum.
