The 119 firefighters who rushed to the police rushed to the scene in time to take water from the water channel to extinguish the fire. After about half an hour, the open flame was extinguished, but the roof of the plant had completely collapsed, and the semi-finished products of wood and furniture piled in the plant had also gone to varying degrees.
Li Yong, a staff member in charge of safety production in the Caiqiao community, said that the furniture factory had previously had hidden fire safety hazards in terms of cargo display and fire exits. On the 18th of this month, the community also issued a rectification notice to the furniture factory, but within a week, this factory had a fire. After the fire, Huang Zumin, the owner of the furniture factory, was taken to the Wenjia police station for investigation. Huang Zumin told reporters that the fire was caused by a faulty electric wire, "there was a problem with the electric wire of the exhaust fan." At present, the fire, public security and other departments are investigating the matter.
